BAY CITY, MICHIGAN — A Bay City resident reportedly shot an individual during a purported home invasion, resulting in the suspect being hospitalized in serious, yet stable condition. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday in the 200 block of N. Jefferson St., where police found a 33-year-old man with two gunshot wounds to his torso outside the home.

It’s alleged the man, armed with a pipe, had forcibly entered the residence, leading to a resident shooting him.

The Bay City Department of Public Safety is investigating the case and encourages anyone with information to contact them at 989-892-8571.
