The Great American Rip-Off: Institutional Investors, New-Age Oligarchies are Crushing the Dream of Property Ownership

America is under siege, not by armies but by unchecked corporate greed and foreign exploitation that threaten the very foundation of our nation’s future.

Our single-family housing and farmland are being snatched up at an alarming rate, not just by the Wall Street elites but increasingly by foreign powers such as China.

This isn’t merely an economic issue — it’s a full-blown assault on our national sovereignty and security.

As we endure the erosion of the American Dream, the assault on our hopes for homeownership has never been more brutal or unrelenting.

The reality we face today is stark: Homes are now “unaffordable” in 99% of the nation for the average American.

This isn’t merely a market trend; it’s a national crisis that screams of a rigged system trampling the average American.

The culprits? Look no further than the voracious appetite of private equity firms and their ilk, which have systematically and ruthlessly driven up housing prices.

A staggering 44% of all single-family home purchases in 2023 were snatched up by these investors, turning what should be homes for families into profit machines for faceless shareholders.

This isn’t just business — it’s a full-scale plunder of residential America, where massive private equity firms act with impunity, backed by left-wing policies that prioritize corporate wealth over individual rights.

The effects of this greed-driven frenzy are palpable and punishing.

Mortgage rates, now topping 7%, have shoved homeownership beyond the horizon for countless aspiring Americans, particularly millennials and first-time buyers who find the dream of owning a home slipping through their fingers like sand.

Meanwhile, those who own homes cling to them in terror of diving back into this manipulated market, strangling supply and further inflating prices.

While the American taxpayer watches the dream of home ownership slip away, the American farmer watches as their own future disappears beneath their feet.

In 2021 alone, foreign entities owned about 40 million acres of U.S. farmland — a staggering 40% increase from just five years earlier.

The implications of this foreign land grab are dire.

We are not just selling acres; we are selling control over our food supply and submitting to a future where decisions about American agricultural land are made in Beijing rather than the heartland.

The very soil that feeds our families, supports our communities, and fuels our nation is being parceled off to the highest bidder with little regard for the long-term consequences.

This treacherous path is facilitated by a cabal of left-wing oligarchies and private equity firms who have turned the American Dream into a perverse market for speculation.

Meanwhile, small American farmers, the backbone of our rural communities, are squeezed out, unable to compete with the deep pockets of foreign and corporate buyers.

The looting of American soil must end, and it must end now.

We need aggressive legislative action that reins in these monopolistic practices, protects private property rights, and restores fairness to a system grotesquely skewed against the average American.

We must demand transparency, impose strict regulations on institutional buying of residential properties, and prioritize the rights of individuals to own a home without being undercut by billion-dollar firms.

We need stringent controls and a transparent tracking system for foreign ownership of American land.

Legislation must be passed to severely restrict or outright ban the sale of our farmland to foreign corporations and governments.

The battle lines are drawn in our communities, and the time to act is now.

If we fail to confront this assault on our rights and our dreams, we risk condemning future generations to a landscape where land ownership, let alone homeownership is a privilege of the elite, and the American Dream is nothing but a hollow echo of a bygone era.
