High fuel costs are squeezing American loggers as the national average diesel price nears six dollars. American Loggers Council Executive Director Scott Dane tells Stuart Varney that filling a single truck now costs $1,350, driving fuel expenses up to 45 percent of total operating costs. Dane urges the administration to suspend the fuel tax to provide immediate relief for the industry.
