GForce Arms recently released its latest Glock-compatible platform with the RPX9 Exodus. Like its predecessor, the GF9 Rapture, the RPX9 Exodus offers a budget-friendly concealed carry-friendly pistol. However, unlike the GF9, the RPX9 does not have an optic cut, making it even more affordable at only $299 MSRP. So, expect street prices to be even lower. Not to mention, it comes with the company’s 5-year limited warranty.
The GForce Arms RPX9 Exodus
The RPX9 Exodus builds on a polymer frame and offers ergonomics Glock users will find familiar. Heavy texturing on the sides of the grip and aggressive stippling on the front and back straps ensure a secure grip during courses of fire. Likewise, the squared trigger guard features a high undercut, providing a higher grip for recoil mitigation and control.
Riding atop the frame is the 4140 steel slide with a QPQ Black finish, matching the frame. Unlike the company’s GF9, the RPX9 does not have an optic cut. However, it does include Glock Fiber Optic sights and is compatible with other Glock pattern sights. So, users can outfit the pistol how they would like. In addition, the slide features front and rear cocking serrations for enhanced slide manipulation, wet or dry.
Boasting optimal Glock compatibility, users can replace the slide with Gen 3 & 4 Glock G19 slides if they prefer. Correspondingly, housed within the slide is the 4.02-inch barrel chambered in 9mm. However, like the slide, the barrel can be swapped out for Gen 3 & 4 Glock G19 barrels.
The RPX9 Exodus ships with a 5-pound trigger with trigger blade safety. But as with everything else, the trigger is replaceable with Glock and Glock-compatible trigger systems for the best performance possible. Offering enhanced safety, the RPX9 Exodus also includes a loaded chamber indicator (extractor) and firing pin safety.
The RPX9 Exodus is compatible with PMAG 15 GL9 magazines and ships with two 15-round Glock-pattern magazines. However, it is also available with 10-round magazines for prohibitive states. Finally, a flared magazine well facilitates fast, easy reloads.
