Alabama-based company AG Composites has launched a new addition to its product lineup to cater to shooters on a budget. Their new line of fiberglass rifle stocks offers more affordable options compared to the existing carbon fiber stocks without compromising on quality.

Designed as a high-quality synthetic replacement stock, the fiberglass stocks follow the manufacturing procedure of their carbon fiber counterparts. The main difference, however, lies in their cost and weight. The newly introduced fiberglass stocks are priced at $399, making them significantly cheaper than the carbon fiber stocks which are priced at $699.

[SHOT 2024] AG Composites Adds More Affordable Fiberglass Stocks To Lineup

Despite the lower price, the differences in weight between the fiberglass and carbon fiber stocks are minimal, with the former only weighing 7 or 8 ounces more. This minor difference may be negligible for many shooters, especially considering the sizeable reduction in cost.

The fiberglass stocks are designed to fit rifles like the Remington 700. The scale of options ensures compatibility with various shooting preferences, being available in a wide range of colors. Moreover, these stocks come in short, medium or long actions, broadening the applicability of the product range.

In addition to the new product line, AG Composites also showcased several new bolt-action upgrade parts, including a new ARCA rail assembly and a new bottom metal assembly. The addition of these products suggests an extended effort from the company to continually enhance the shooting experience of its consumers, even when operating on limited budgets.

With these new offerings, AG Composites continues to provide quality products to shooters, balancing affordability and quality successfully to secure their place in the market. It will be interesting to see how the marketplace receives this new line and whether AG Composites’ bet on economy combined with quality pays off.
