DAVENPORT, FLORIDA — A RaceTrac employee is recovering after being stabbed by a convicted felon. The incident occurred on Monday morning when police say Marc Caseaf Tucker entered the store. The victim, who was preparing to stock food merchandise, offered assistance to Tucker, but he declined. Suddenly, Tucker approached her from behind and began stabbing her in the back and side. Shalie Lipp, who some suggested would be the next female star in UFC, died in a car crash Sunday in Minnesota. STARKS, LOUISIANA — A man has been charged with aggravated assault and battery for shooting at children who were playing hide and seek near his home. One of the children, a 14-year-old girl, was struck by a bullet in the back of her head. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that the girl’s injuries were not life-threatening and she was taken to the hospital for treatment.
